Why is sakura so annoying

People often disregard her as a character, even though she represents what many of us have had to go through as suffers of anxiety or as someone considered lesser than others. Thank you again. I must politly disagree. She never gave a coherent reason for liking Sasuke other than his looks.

She abandoned a potential relationship with her best friend and pure nice guy Naruto for a guy who never gave her the time of day just because he was popular and handsome. How shallow is that? And Sasuke still ignores her in Gaiden. In a flashback in episode 32, Sakura tells her friends including Ino that she has a crush on Sasuke. Yeah like not feeling anything, disregarding the generic girl and then trying to kill her when you meet up?

Cus this is what Sakura loves. Pure disregard and borderline abuse. I dont think that guy meant a romantic and or sexual relationship Akiry. Hinata demonstrates here true love for Naruto all the time. She risked her life to protect Naruto in the pain attack. This deeper level of love that you say Sakura has for Sasuke is truly imaginary. None of that would happen thebwhole distance makes the heart grow fonder nonsense is bullshit after two and a half years of not seeing sasuke the feeling would have muted all but died out nothing more than i memory of feelings passed and after all the attempted killing of her and naruto i mean come on at some point your just being stupid.

THATS a reason to admire someone…? Sounds like mental illness to me. Does she need an intervention…? Kasey, first of all its Ino not Inu which is the japanese word for dog. And secondly, her love for Sasuke is like the common white trash women of North America. The type that falls in love with drunken, abusive, controlling bastards that they believe actually love them.

She didnt even understand the pain Sasuke her supposed soulmate was feeling and hurt him as well. Are you another idiot girl who falls in love with abusive, controlling guys who dont actually love you?

Sakura is a sexist portrayal of women anyway. The icing on the cake was when Sasuke once again took off and left her to raise Sarada alone for years, solidifying Sakura as a stereotype. Anna, imho Sakura had a lot of potential, but her one sided obsession with Sasuke squandered it. That being said I dont blame Sasuke, what I mean is that he isnt the family type.

Kishimoto has publicly stated that he does not understand women. His weakness just happens to be women, although some female characters from the franchise are good. Such as Tenten, and Tamari. Sakura should have or did know this.

She wanted to have a child with him that badly I guess. Besides the superficial looks and prodigy? And Hinata deserves him? Where was she when he was ignored by the rest of the village? Hiding behind trees. Everything you said about Sakura was while she was a child but when she grew up who was there for Naruto.

Not Hinata, not Sasuke, it was Sakura. Sakura was nothing but an emotional burden to Naruto all around. Remember when pain fought Naruto and unlike the other kids and their parents not including the Nara family she never showed any disgust or hate towards Naruto. Lastly, what do you mean Naruto never showed any love for her.

Gradually, throughout the show and the movies he would show how much his opinion of her changed. During the pain attack, during the chunin exams, etc. To me, it just comes off as sexist, dependent and glorifies abuse. Also, after the Kazekage rescue arc, she has no development for several years of serialization until the kage summit arc where she regresses back to her part 1 counterpart and is then shoehorned into the final battle with poor writing.

Without foreshadowing, she suddenly gains the byakugo seal when it was never mentioned at all in the entire series that she had been storing chakra until that very specific moment then her punch to Kaguya which has too many reasons as why that should have been impossible. Ninja, I think the whole rivalry thing is too simple an explanation. He did everything for her sake and happiness, even sacrificed his own feelings for her. But I agree, they are happy in the end.

At least Naruto and Hinata, not sure about Sasuke and Sakura lol. Naruto never really loved Sakura in that way. I dont really get Japans obsession at least in the anime world with female characters having to prove to their peers how great they are at something.

The type that displays how great they are without flaunting it. As for you statement about the franchises genre.

Kishimoto really focused in on relationships and companionship. Well I absolutely love Sakura. She is my favorite female character alongside Kisara Yu-Gi-Oh! Mainly because they develop very differently from others. Sakura treats Naruto that way because, he might be the only person she actually trusts, and she knows that he will always be there for her. I really liked Sakura but I started to hate her because of her superficiality, her ignorance, her fanatism and her devotion to Sasuke and her cruelty to Naruto.

Why does she love Sasuke? She is a bad friend, she ends her friendship with Ino, her only friend for a boy and decides to make her her rival. Naruto really loves her, he sheds blood, tears and sweat for her, he sacrifices his feelings for her to be happy and she, she strikes him for futilities, despises and tramples his feelings. She could have evolved over the time and become a better person and an excellent kunoichi, she would have learned the taijutsu with Gai-sensei and the medical jutsu with Tsunade-sama.

Apologize to Naruto and Ino and treats them as her best friends and she would have bitterness Sasuke because of he tried to kill her and she would have beaten him for that Karin too , She would have fought a lot more and would have won with her taijutsu, her determination and her insight.

In the end she fell in love with Rock Lee and we would stop seeing her like a superficial and useless person. Never liked Sakura.

She was willfully oblivious to the fact that she was destroying Naruto with that selfish promise that it was Sai, the most emotionally stunted character in the series, who broke it to her. I think Aohebi, that they got it right for Sakura, pairing her with someone who gives her the cold shoulder and whose affection seems little more than taps to the forehead and vague smirks.

I totally agree with you. She definitely deserves him and his coldness. Never thought about it like that Akiko-san, Neko-san. I guess she does deserve a distant and cold relationship with sasuke considering her admittedly poor treatment of Naruto even after all he did and treating her WAY better.

Naruto would have always wanted to save Sasuke whether he promised Sakura or not. Did you not watch the show? So arguing that Naruto only went after Sasuke due to the promise asked for by Sakura is not right. He would have gone after Sasuke any way. Besides Naruto never hated Sasuke for the stuff he did, he was happy to have him back in a heartbeat, so why just bash Sakura?

It just felt right. Sasuke tried to push her away because he believed she did not deserve him, and also she could be that one person who can avert him from his revenge. As for them not being together so much after getting married, well I feel they are both mature enough to make those sacrifices for their village, and their love is strong in their hearts.

Their love is something beyond those things that most of the current materials based generation can not ever hope to understand. Besides it was all more sibling like. She did not have that kind of feelings for Naruto. I have had at least 2 guys who had a crush on me, there was nothing wrong with them, but I never felt any feelings towards them. She is now one of the most valuable women in Konoha.

She felt real to me. If she was always so perfect and good I would not have related to her at all. All you people are extremely stupid. You claim that sakura never had a reason to love sasuke and was only after him because of his good looks.

First of all, sakura may have initially liked sasuke based on his coolness, but the more time they spent together, more she started to see his flaws and fell in love with his imperfect self.

Second no one in the whole manga except for hinata was given a reason behind their love. He clearly loved her dearly as he started a war for her. Sakura suffered the most for loving sasuke.

She stopped wanting to be with him. I agree that she did treat him badly, but after commenting on him being an orphan, and Sasuke calling her out, she did feal bad. Above all she supported Naruto. And during his fight with kiba and neji. She cheered for him and had faith in him. Third, about her breaking her friendship with Ino.

Sasuke was never the only reason. She wanted to blossom and beat Ino to prove her strength. They became rivals rather than friends. Sasuke was just the last straw. I would like to remind you that sasuke just left recently, she was very hurt by his betrayal. Only one who could now was naruto. So she asked him to bring him back. She never asked him to promise her. It was Naruto himself who promised her. Not the other way around.

About her fake confession. She just recently found out that sasuke became an international criminal and was ordered to be killed.

But was the truth. Above all Sai left her guilt ridden by saying that her promise with Naruto is making him suffer. And about how Naruto was in love with her. Clearly she never took his promise so seriously and never knew he loved her. Plus she knew that he will be able to see right through her.

She knew she hurt him. She felt guilty for doing it soon after. She was planning to kill herself, after killing sasuke. Sure her plan was completely flawed and so was her reasons to confess to Naruto. But she thought there was no other way. Like sasuke tried to kill Karin, Naruto and even kakashi. Them forgiving him is fine but if sakura does it, shes desperate??

He was completely under the influence of the curse of hatred. It would have been so. But the thing is, that if sakura actually did went after Naruto instead of sasuke? She would nothing more than a shallow fangirl.

Going from one cool guy to another just because the other one is too out of reach. Loving sasuke was never easy. She knew it but she could never stop. Plus it was sasuke who made sasusaku canon due to the forehead poke. He never abandoned her or sarada. He was on a classified mission that only he could complete due to his rinnegan.

If sasuke never took the mission, there would have been another war. To stop another war from happening, he left on said mission for years as to protect the future generation mostly sarada from not suffering the way they did.

After they got married, sasuke is not cold to sakura. In Gaiden we saw it. He held her so gently after it. And when sarada asked that if he loved sakura, he replied yes. And when she asked, how can he be so sure? He said that You sarada are living proof of my love for sakura. Meaning, sarada was created from their love for one another.

I had read that Sakura was planned like this, just a normal girl without much to do and that even the author gave the whole story a role that made the fandom hated. Kishimoto dislikes me in that aspect, puts them as useless. In short, good post. Sakura is a prime example of a wasted character and contradiction. Time will tell I guess. Sakura is a contradiction. And she was terrible to Naruto, who truly cared about her and her happiness.

Though she improved over the series, in the end, she regressed back to her shallow self and married Sasuke without even rebuking him for his misdeeds or even his leaving her all alone in the epilogue. Like whatever character you like, it doesn't concern me. This is just to show why she's despised by many. This blog isn't to talk about her as a whole, so I'm not really saying positive stuff on purpose.

Also, I'm talking about her mainly in the original series and Shippuden. Not Boruto. This blog will be a mix of opinion and fact. I'm reminding myself Sakura isn't real, so I will try to not get too much into my feelings.

Sakura loved Sasuke ever since she was in the academy. A lot of girls liked him as well, but only for his cool appearance. When Sasuke was chosen on her team, she let it go to her head.

She became desperate for him, which was quite annoying. I didn't want to bring Hinata into this, but even though she liked Naruto, she wasn't obsessed. To be honest, Sakura only liked Sasuke for the way he looked and how cool he was. Not for his heart. The problem with this is Sakura was oblivious to the fact Sasuke didn't give a damn about her. Which made her obsession annoying throughout Naruto. I really shouldn't have to explain this.

Sakura was aware Naruto had a huge crush on her, yet she treated him like nothing. I'm not saying she had to like him back, but she could of at least been more kind to him. She would punch Naruto for the most stupid reasons, then turn to Sasuke and praise him. Back then, it was obvious Naruto cared more about Sakura than Sasuke did. She should have treated him better. She acted like Naruto was the annoying one when she was. I understand Sakura hitting Naruto was supposed to be a joke, but now I'm beginning to realize she was rude to him for no reason.

Watch this:. Also known as her uselessness. Right now I'm at episode 14 and I got to say I find Sakura extremely annoying, the way she upsests over Sauske is annoying enough, but also the fact that she has the nerve to look down on Naruto even though she's clearly the weakest in the group just takes the cake. Naruto's a good show but Sakura is just I'm wondering does she get any less annoying throughout the series?

I'm pretty sure she gets a lot of hate. One of the reasons I dropped that show after four episodes was because of her This belongs in the Naruto board. Moved to Naruto board. She improves a lot over time. Especially in Shippuuden era. She's there to help show off how Naruto improves, really, because she remains useless for the longest time.

She's supposedly really good at chakra control and all the theory stuff, but useless in practical combat. Naruto's useless at theory but good in combat. Sasuke's good at both but Sakura is still better at control to begin with. She's made to be an incredibly annoying, obnoxious, bitchy character to help contrast Naruto, and to help highlight the growth over time. Jb said: I've just started watching Naruto I know I'm a little late. Amazing sig set thanks to -DraGonZ-. As mentioned, yes, she is really annoying, but she really improves after a while, and she's giving a lot to the series later, just give it some time : PS.

I really hate her! IMO she is really annoying trhoughout the entire series. DonKangolJones said: agreed, Kishimoto does put some effort into her character for pt 2 though. Sakura IS annoying, and it takes awhile for her to stop being as annoying at least to me. I still think it's worth it to continue watching.

To judge a series after not watching a quarter of it would be terrible in my opinion. Right now I feel somewhat addicted and can't stop watching. She's very useless and it seems that each time she's by herself she says something like "Ok, now it's MY turn. It's like a never ending cycle of Sakura just crying. I mean, sure she warms up to Naruto finally , but she's still all whiny and wants to be independent but ends up dependent on Naruto.

I have not been watching Naruto til just now. I have been watching Naruto for about almost about 2 years. I have seen all the episodes and up until where the fillers are now in English. I have seen all the current Shippuudens, too. I haven't never liked Sakura. Sure she can criticize Naruto a lot I like her. And I can take any opinions you might have as of not liking her.

As to me, even her manner to dress and pink hair seem annoying. Credits for the av go to whispering-eden. You're not alone. She has to be one of the most annoying, useless characters in the show.

But she really does get better with time. And once you reach Shippuden, she actually becomes a likeable character lol. Sakura'll learn to be kind :. She's much better in Shippuden. You are certainly not the only one.

She's annoying from episode 1 all the way to shippuuden. How can they write her into this great anime? Some people here try to convince themselves that she got better in shippuuden, but all she's done is scream and punch the ground She's been together with Naruto all this time but she still sides with everyone against him, keeping secrets from him, making the hero of the leaf village out to be some sort of helpless wimp.

If the 4th hokage was still around to guide Naruto, Sakura would never have a chance to treat him the way she does. Not even the fag Sasuke could defeat Naruto if he got serious, but Sakura is so dumb that she's blind to the fact that Naruto is much stronger, and more dedicated than Sasuke could ever be.

She even tried to copy Hinatas' confession to try and deceive Naruto yet again. What a waste She is annoying.. Mann, I hate when people get angry over Sakura. She's a really smart person with great chakra control, who's a NORMAL twelve year-old girl who obsesses over the hottest boy in class like everyone else. She has great potential as a Kunoichi. True, she's somewhat useless through out some of the series, but in this way she acts as a way to lift up Naruto, and even Sasuke in the beginning.

In Shippuden, thanks to Tsunade, she becomes very strong, and overcomes her obstacles. She has amazing chakra control to become a Medical Ninja, and she can concentrate chakra into her hand to have incredible strength. Sakura is a beast in Shippuden, and she's also so significant to Naruto and Sasuke's achievements in the first series. Also, for people who think Sakura's stupid for going after Sasuke, Sakura just thought Sasuke was hot in the beginning, but if you continue to watch the series, you see the change in the way she feels about him.

He's no longer just the 'hot' boy in the class, but he became someone precious to her who she genuinely cares about. You can see, especially starting in the Chuunin Exams, how she begins to feel something more for him, something true.
